A New Zealand based company Health Choice Ltd recently reported results of several separate human clinical trials in its marketing materials. Cordyceps increases sex drive and improves sexual function. Three separate studies were conducted with over 750 people with decreased sex drive.
One group was given a placebo. The other one was given 3 grams of Cordyceps per day. After 40 days, almost two thirds of people taking Cordyceps demonstrated remarkable improvement in sexual function.
In another study, male participants who received 3 grams of Cordyceps per day for 40 days increased their sperm survival time and increased sperm count. In addition, more than 50% of the participants reported an increase in sex drive.
Cordyceps appears to address erection problems by enlarging the penis and improving blood circulation. Cordyceps is not for men alone. Women experienced increase sexual desire and satisfaction while on a regular Cordyceps regimen as well.
Other Cordyceps health benefits may include higher energy levels, reduced aging, lower cholesterol and blood pressure levels, better immune response and improved respiratory health and healthier kidney and liver function.
